Avon: Mega Effects Mascara.

Were to start with this mascara! Is it the new best thing?

Now I must admit I didn't need a new mascara but as soon as I saw it I had to have it! It is so different to anything else on the market at the moment.

The thing that brought my attention to this mascara was the wand, it is unusual to say the least. The first thing I want to say though is if you are wanting to try it out because of the wand it doesn't really do anything different to the normal mascara wand.

The mascara itself is good. It makes your lashes very thick and it's hard to wipe off the acces that comes out when you first open it, so it can make your lashes a little spidery but if you love that effect them I reccomend trying it out.

The packing is nice I like the pink and black it catches your eye. The black part of the packaging is a soft plastic so you can squeeze it to get more product on the wand. The packaging doesn't feel that expensive and to me it doesn't really look that expensive.

Overall I don't mind this mascara, however I don't think it's amazing and I proberly won't repurchase it.

Nars: Duo Eyeshadow

I have fallen in love with these eyeshadow duo! I have it in the shade 'All about eve' both of the colours are nude and both of them have a shine/ shimmer to them.

The pigmentation of the two eyeshadow as you can see is very good. They are both a warm nude colour and complement each other very well, however they are similar as you can see. The one on the left is darker and I love this for a suttle crease or as a easy all over the lid quick simple look. The one on the right is lighter which is great for a brow bone highlight or again a quick all over the lid with a nice winged eyeliner.

The eyeshadow is really soft and feels like velvet. They are great to blend and are in no way chalky.

The packaging is very sturdy, the one thing that annoys me is it is that typical Nars packaging which gets very dirty with fingerprints very fast! So it's not great for in your make up bag, even though it has become a staple for me.

The price of the Nars duo eyeshadows are £25.00 so they are quite pricey, but they are so worth the money in my opinion and are great for a little treat for yourself or someone else who is into makeup.

MUA: Bronzer.

MUA: Bronzer.

MUA Bronzers are only £1 they are good quality and they are very efficient.

The pigmentation of the bronzer is good it's not the greatest but you get what you pay for! The bronzer I have is in shade 1, it has got a little shimmer but it is not over powering. However to me shade one is a little orange! The feel of the bronzer is very soft and velvet like.

I don't often wear this all over my face I use it to contour on a angled blush brush. Try saying that 10 times fast!! The product is blend able to a certain extent.

If you are just starting out with make up this Is perfect and I recommend you check out my recent reviews as I have done a few on MUA products. The range is £1 then you get the professional range which you can spend up to £8.

Sorry

So I am very sorry that I have not blogged for a while and I don't want to make up loads of excuses. My laptop broke and that just really unmotivated me, I still have not got my laptop fixed and I don't think that I will, so for the time being the photos may not be of the best quality as I will be taking them on my ipad. I don't think that they will be the worst quality just not as great as my camera. I do apologise for this and hope you don't mind to much!

Maybelline New York: Color Tattoo 24hr.

Maybelline New York: Color Tattoo 24hr.

The Maybelline New York Color Tattoo 24hr is amazing for if you are on the go or if you don't have much time to get ready in the morning or even at night.

The colour that I have is Pink Gold, there is a variety of colours from grey to brown and they even do a dark purple. The packaging is really nice and looks very expensive if you ask me.

The cream eyeshadow is so pigmented and is perfect to have all over the eye just on its own. I also no of people that would use this as a base and then layer other eyeshadows over the top. Which makes this good for the night time aswell!!

This colour tattoo I think will last me a really long time as I have been using it everyday and there is the tiniest mark on it. They do last a long time however I have never had the chance to have my make up on for a whole 24hr so I don't no if it does last that long. They do not crease, well this one doesn't on me.

I highly recommend trying these out as they are a great cheaper version of the MAC paint pots and I believe that they do the same thing.

Nars: Orgasm Blush.

Nars: Orgasm Blush.

So I don't even no where to start with this blush! This I think is my new obsession, I have never tried a Nars blusher before and I really don't no why.

The blush is so soft and just glides on to your face, I don't mean that in a bad way. The blush is perfect for a night time look I do think that it could be a little to in your face for the daytime but it depends on how much you apply.

The pigmentation of this blush is truly amazing, however that is not showing up to great on the picture! The colour is a rose gold type colour and is quite shimmer. If you are looking for a matt blush this won't be for you.

For application I like and recommend to use a Stipple brush as it does not apply too much and it is more wearable. I also like this as if you are heavy handed it applies it with a swept kind of look, so it is not to much and you don't end up looking like a clown.

I hope this review help you, if you have any requests let me now in the comments.

Rimmel London: Stay Glossy Lip Gloss.

Rimmel London: Stay Glossy Lip Gloss.

Top to Bottom: Non-Stop Glamour, All Day Seduction and Always Lovely.
Left to Right: Non-Stop Glamour, All Day Seduction and Always Lovely.

The Stay Glossy lip glosses are my favourite lip glosses of all time, they are not sticky and last a very long time. The colours are quite pigmented and I think are great lip glosses for putting on top of different lipsticks. The glosses are lovely and shiny and they don't have a nasty taste or smell. These cost £6.29 from Boots and Superdrug.

Seventeen: Doll'd Up Mascara.

Seventeen: Doll'd Up Mascara.

This mascara is Amazing it is so true to everything it says on the packaging, it holds the curl that it puts into your lashes for as long as you wear it. I have this mascara in Black and I brought it for £4 from boots as Seventeen is a Boots only brand. The brush has a curve to it which really helps to curl your natural lashes with out using a eyelash curler. This is also the perfect constancy and doesn't add to much thickness so if you like a mascara to add thickness maybe don't go for this one. I also love the fact that it doesn't add any clumps to your mascara. I love this and it is one of my favourites of all time.

Miners: Bronzer and Blusher Blend.

Miners: Bronzer and Blusher Blend.

This miners Bronzer and Blusher Blend had made its way into my make up and has managed to stay there and I love this product so much now. When I wear this product I use it as a all over check product. I don't like to add a bronzer as well as it can make my checks look a bit to over done, however this may just be my opinion. The pigment of this is amazing and it comes up true to the colour of the swatch on the face. I don't really have any more to say on this product but it has bean one of my favourite cheek product for a while now.

MUA: Pro-Base Eye Primer.

MUA: Pro-Base Eye Primer.

MUA's Pro-Base eye primer, I picked up this eye primer not expecting to much as it was only £2.50! However I have fallen in love with it, it is one of the best eye shadow primers I have ever owned. I have loved using this as it does not crease my eye shadow and looks flawless. The packaging to me looks a little bit more expensive than it was and feels very slick. Overall if you can not tell so far I love this product and highly recommend you check it out and at least give it a go.

W7: Naked Nudes Eyeshadow Palette.

W7: Naked Nudes Eyeshadow Palette.

So I don't think that I am alone when I say that I have never really heard of the make-up brand W7. I got this eyeshadow palette from my local market actually and it was a bargain as it was only £2.99, I was a little bit couscous of getting this as it was quite cheap. I am so happy that I got it now as it is a very good quality palette and the eyeshadows are very pigmented and last quite well on the eyes.
My only fault with this product is that the fall out can be abit annoying as there is quite a bit.

Miners: Moisture Effect Lipstick.

Miners: Moisture Effect Lipstick.

The miners is a brand which is very good if you are starting off with make up but also if you like lighter products. The brand is getting harder to find in stores how ever I do recommend that you have a look in your pharmacy, that is were I found my miners things.

The moisture effect lipstick I have fallen in love with is called Hush Hush, it is the perfect nude in my eyes as it is slightly pinky. I love that with this nude it doesn't sink into the cracks of your lips. The packaging is very slick and looks quite high end. The lipstick is highly pigmented as you may be able to see from the swatch I have done.

If you have any products you would like me to review leave it in the comments and I will see what I can do.

Maybelline Baby Lips Are In The UK!

Maybelline Baby Lips Are In The UK!

FINALLY BABY LIPS ARE HERE IN THE UK!! So I bet you are all as excited as I am to get my hands on the Maybelline Baby Lips. I was in my boots today and I was looking at the Maybelline stand and this Baby Lip caught my eye, so i ran over and it was the last one. I asked the lady walking round if there were any more. She said that the one I have must be the last one so I was so lucky to pick this one up. I have the Intense Care one, of course I have been wearing it today and honestly it is the most refreshing thing for my lips ever they already feel so much better. The packaging of these is so so cute and it feels really sturdy. The Baby Lip also have SPF 20 in them which is a added bonus. They are £2.99 and should be in most stores on Wednesday the 7th.

July Favourites

July Favourites

My first ever favourites post, I am going to be doing favourites towards the end of each month now. So let start!

MUA: The Artiste Collection
So the first thing that I have been using is the Artiste Collection Palette, this palette is a multi-use palette and I have been loving the Blushes, Bronzer and Highlighter. The Blushes are called Pink Sparkle and Primrose and i have been using them both alternately. The Bronzer is called Bronzed, I have been loving this to contour with as it does not make me look orange! The Highlighter is called Shimmer Kiss, it just give the perfect glow to the top of my checks.

MUA: Nail Polishes
I have also been loving the MUA nail polishes in Natural Days which is a perfect baby pink and the other one that i have been loving is Bright Coral which is the coral colour! I have been loving them as it has been really hot here in the UK and they make your hand and arms look more tanned what more can you ask for. I have done a full review on the Bright Coral nail polish as it was my last NOTW.

Model Co: Lip-gloss
The Model Co lip-gloss is in the colour Strip Tease, which is the perfect peach colour but is also quite nude like and i do love my nude lips all year round. I also love the fact that the gloss is not sticky and smells/ taste like starburst!

Soap and Glory: Peaches and Clean
This is a face wash and is just so refreshing first if all if you don't like peach sent then this is not for you as it has a very strong peach sent. I have just loved this as I use it every night and my skin feels so refreshed and so soft.

Clinique: High Impact Mascara
I own the sample size of this mascara but will definalty be purchsing the full size once this has run out. I truley love this mascara as it just gives the perfect affect to to the lashes as they dont go clumpy and are very fluttery.

Collection 2000: Concealer Lasting Perfection
I am not going to talk to much about this because i bet you are all sick of it as everyone talks about it all the time however I do love this concealer. I have shade 2 Light, I just love this for covering and blemishes.

MUA: Undress Me Too Palette
This is my favourite eye shadow palette it has lovely neutral colours and I have been loving using shades, Naked, Shy, Dreamy and Tranquil. To create the perfect eye look through out the month.

Hope you enjoyed this post,

July Favourites

Favourite Summer Nail Polishes.

Left to Right: MUA: Natural Days, Bright Coral. Barry M: Greenberry. Miss Sporty: No.6. Ciate Mini: Shooting Star.

As it is summer here in the UK I decided to do a post on my favourite nail polishes.

MUA: Nail Polishes
The first two nail polishes I have been loving are both from MUA they are the shades Natural Days which is the baby pink and the other shade is called Bright Coral which is the coral colour, these are perfect for the summer as they make your hands look tanned! I have also gone into a bit more detail on Bright Coral as it was last weeks NOTW.

Barry M: Gelly Hi-Shine
I have mentioned this before in one of my first blog posts as I reviewed a few colours. I have picked Greenberry as my favourite one for the summer, I don't want to talk about this to much as you may have already seen that post. If you want to no my views on the nail polish go back and look at that post.

Miss Sporty: No.6
Miss Sporty nail polishes are hard to tell what shade they are as they don't have any names the number on the bottom of the one I love is 6 I think that this is the shade. I love this colour for the summer as it is a pastel yellow and just look really gorgeous on the nails.

Ciate Mini: Shooting Star
I got this nail polish in the Glamour Magazine a while back and the colour is just amazing it I a simple nude and I love wearing this as it is really simple and goes with a lot of things! My only fault with this one is that it is very sheer some people might like that but I do like my nail polishes to be highly pigmented and not take 4 coats.

17: Supreme Shine Lipstick

17: Supreme Shine Lipstick

 Shade: Hot Flash

This lipstick is my new favourite this colour is just summer all over and follows the bold lip trend. The lipstick is £4.99 from Boots you can only get this lipstick from Boots as it is a Boots brand. The lipstick shade is Hot Flash and as you can see from the swatch that I did it is highly pigmented, the shade is a red/orange colour and is just beautiful. As this is  a Supreme Shine lipstick it is very glossy like and it also last a long time on the lips. Even though it does not say it is a stain it did leave a trail of colour on my lips! I am very happy with this lipstick and will certainly be going back to boots to pick up some more.

Maybelline New York: Great Lash Mascara.

Maybelline New York: Great Lash Mascara.

 Blackest Black

I had heard so many good things about this mascara so I decided to pick it up and see what all the fuss was about! When I first started to use this Great Lash mascara I thought it was great and I understood the rave, but then after about a week I realised that the mascara had gone quite watery so I was a bit concious to wear it just in case it was a bad one. However I have carried on using it and it seems to be fine now I don't no if that happened to everyone or just me. So I kind of understand the hype but I don't think it is the best mascara you can get at the drugstore, there are in my opinion many more that you can get for £4.99.

Eyelash Curler Only £1

Eyelash Curler Only £1

This eyelash curler was only £1 it was from Primark. I know everybody doesn't love Primark but even if you don't I highly recommend picking this eyelash curler up, it does exactly what my £5 Boots one does and it doesn't burn a whole in your pocket if you loose it. I have had my for about 4 months and it has not broken which I was so pleased with. I also think that it looks quite cute with the pink bits on the handles and the silver bit. Just give it ago you will be amazed at how good it works.

MUA Single Shadows

MUA Single Shadows

 Left to Right:Shade 17(matt), Shade 24(pearl) and Shade 20(matt)

MUA have some great quality products but one thing I love from them is there single eye shadows. They have a range of colours from neutrals to brights to then darks. These eye shadows are very pigmented as you can see from the swatches that I have done I haven't yet found a colour which I think was not worth the £1 and yes that's right the MUA single eye shadows are only £1 and for the quality you can not go wrong. The other thing that I was really pleased with was the fact that they are not chalky and do not crease. These are one of my favourite products as they are so easy to take around.

NOTW

NOTW

 MUA: Bright Coral

So I thought that I would start doing a post dedicated to nails every Friday. I thought that I would call it NOTW  which stands for Nails Of The Week. This week I have fallen in love with this MUA shade called Bright Coral, it is exactly what the name says. I am really impressed with the nail polish as it was only £1 and has lasted the whole week. You can only get these nail polishes from Superdrug and they are worth every penny. This colour Bright Coral really got me in the mood for summer and I really liked having a pop of colour on my nails.

Rimmel London: Apocalips Lip Lacquer

Rimmel London: Apocalips Lip Lacquer

I have the shades Stellar and Luna in the Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquers. I really love this product and they are in my opinion exactly what they say they are. If you don't like bright colours I would not recommend them, the colour range is not the best, I would love for them to bring out a bit more of a variety. The way that this lip lacquer drys is very good it will stay glossy for quite a while and the turn in to a lipstick form on your lips, this means that the staying power is very good. The pigmentation is also amazing and the packaging sold it even more to me. You can get the Apocalips Lip Lacquer from Boots or Superdrug for only £5.99 that in my eyes is a bargain!

Please leave comments of any product you would like me to review and I will see what I can do.
